Born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Minneapolis at age 9.  Currently reside in Rosemount, Minnesota with my family. Owner of Infinity Arts & Designs with my wife Christine.

Artist Profile

• I have been painting, drawing, and working with various woods and cloths to create art since the age of nine. I began selling my artwork as a child, and sold my first at the age of ten.
• 4-H was where I got my beginnings, and also met my art mentor who I am still in contact with.
• I currently mentor and teach art classes to kids who participate in 4-H.
• I currently teach art classes to adults through Community Education classes.
• Attended Brown Institute College in Minneapolis, MN for Ad Design, 1992-1994.
• In 2006, I began a new technique, doing something unique, blending acrylic paints and sculpted papers to create 3D images on paper.
• My goal is to be a self-sufficient, full-time artist and art instructor, and to continue selling commissioned pieces and working with local schools doing resident artist projects.

Brief Description of Current Work

My present 3D mixed media artwork is something I came up with in 2006, while looking for something new and innovative. I use a lot of bold, bright colors (paper and paints), along with various techniques to create my present displays. My current work is something fresh and new and it gives me the drive and passion to continue to be creative and expressive. Art can be very powerful and uplifting.

Rollin

I used two professional battery-powered studio strobes on Manfroto lightstands with light modifiers. I used radio remote controls to adjust and trigger my lights. I also used a Nikon professional zoom lens.
