It’s was a nice fall day, chilly, a little breezy but that’s nice because it clears any polution away and the sunlight can shine directly without being diffused by the atmosphere, which gives this hard light that creates this high contrast lighting I like so much. I was taking out the trash the other day and I noticed the wind had blown up some leaves in the corner near the entrance door. I was stunned by the beauty of the shade of yellow I could see. I brought them into my studio and created this image. I hope you like it – Rollin
